So sad and pathetic to see him trying to be what he is supposed to be in a tiny plastic enclosure. That same gorilla in the wild would turn toward any people approaching in the jungle and he woud inflate and beat his chest proudly. This poor guy looks so majestic in the beginning shot but he is relegated to a pathetically small space and as a spectacle. so depressing. What are we actually getting out of zoos? So karen can show the kids??? Kids learn NOTHING at the zoo that they cannot learn in school, and the zoo animals are awful representations of their species due to how we keep them. The days of zoos are numbered. They have already dwindled in popularity and only get grabts in the name of breeding programs. Well they should convert zoos into breeding programs that repopulate from where that animal is native to.
